I just set up the site with SSL from LetsEncrypt.
As I’m using UnoEuro as host, it was a pretty simple and straightforward process. I just enabled HTTPS in my UnoEuro account with the LetsEncrypt certificate, changed some URL’s in the WordPress configuration, made of couple of redirects and that’s it.
That should make Google happy and make any visitors at ease. Nowadays it is pretty much a must to be running SSL. I can’t see any reason not doing it, especially when you consider how easy it was to get up and running.
And now, onwards to more blog posts and hopefully more activity on the site.
