While closely avoiding a curfew yesterday, a lot of people still hoarded food and essential supplies in panic. Apparently some people haven’t got the message that there’s more than enough food for everybody and that you’re still allowed to go shopping on a curfew. It’s not like the government expect you to stock up for food for a month, even though the Corona virus is rampaging through society.
Regarding the queens speech to the nation yesterday, I think she did a great job. A boost to morale and we’re in this together, while also a lifted finger to take it seriously. Not tomorrow. Not in a week. Right here and now. A short and concise speech. Well done.
I’m feeling a bit under the weather today (typical understatement coming from a Dane). Hopefully I’m not coming down with something. Threw in the towel after half a work day and told my boss I took the rest of the day off. Afterwards I slept 4 hours and woke up completely disoriented. Hopefully it’s better tomorrow.
This is part of a series of posts I’ve written about the Corona virus and how it have impacted our society. Equal parts news, observations and thoughts. See the rest of the posts here.
