So, 3 months into 2017 and I can already see a pattern forming. Good intentions and plans to write weekly and here I am, writing my second post this year.
It’s not that I don’t want to write stuff. I really do and I enjoy the process. A lot. I think it’s just a question of forming a habit and getting into a grove. Which is easier said than done, having a full time job which eats way more time than I remember from last having a proper job.
Oh well, it’s not all that bad. This website have always been a hobby of mine and working with Magento webshops everyday means I get scratched that technical itch. It also doesn’t help, that I really like the current state of my site. There’s always something to improve or fiddle around with, but overall I’m pretty satisfied. I guess it’s the law of diminishing returns and the work required to improve things beyond a certain state, when there is something more interesting / worthwhile to do (such as playing the new Zelda).
It seems to me that I have to be more structured about my writing and planning it out beforehand. Waiting for inspiration to strike me doesn’t really do it, which my hefty activity on the site just underscores.
