Corona Virus Day 4: More of the same

Day 4 after the shutdown. There have been a couple of press meetings today. Mostly stuff about how the government will help private companies and SAS sending home 90% of their workforce. Italy seems to be spiralling more and more out of control, followed closely by Spain and France. Iran is a total shitshow, which doesn’t really surprise anyone. Those political sanctions have hit them hard.

The news are basically only about the Corona virus now. Not much else gets any airtime. I understand why they’re covering it so intensely, but there’s still other stuff going on in the rest of the world.
The only positive thing so far, is seeing how the various political parties are standing together in this. Acting out of line and against the interest of the country doesn’t really do you any favours as a party. They could learn a lot from this.

Mood is still good here, though the weather have been grey and boring. I don’t think I have seen the sun today. Spent most of the time watching Breaking Bad (never seen it before, so better late than never). Tomorrow begins a new work week. Going to be interesting how a whole week working from home is going to be. Probably not without hiccups.

This is part of a series of posts I’ve written about the Corona virus and how it have impacted our society. Equal parts news, observations and thoughts. See the rest of the posts here.
